Kobukuro sadao pottery

Originally Kuroki Saisuke (黒木才助) started this pottery and when Kobukuro Hikoroku (小袋彦六), the third-generation owner, married into the Kuroki family, he changed the pottery’s name to “Kobukuro” after his own family name.

The eighth-generation owner of the pottery. His father survived WWII and took over the pottery when he returned from the war. Due to his father’s experience during the war, Sadao hates the destruction of any life form. His hobby is Kyudo (Japanese art of archery) in which he has attained the fifth level ranking.
